Briana and Brandon had one epic wedding day – this elegant winter wedding at the Madison Club in Madison, WI was the perfect way for me to end the 2019 wedding season. Briana had told me from the beginning that she had a vision of a classy winter themed wedding and the Madison Club in all of it’s Christmas decor glory truly gave a magical touch to the entire day. It was my first time shooting at this venue, and I loved the flow of the day – how each space gave a purpose from the beautiful atrium level for the ceremony dripping with Chandeliers and a gorgeous floral arch by the talented Daffodil Parker to cocktails and sushi (What a fun addition, from their first date!!) and then dinner on separate levels, and back to the atrium where the band, student body, rocked the night away.
Briana’s dress was so classic and elegant, and her girls dark green velvet dresses are truly what winter wedding dreams are made of. We shot the majority of the photos beforehand, utilizing all that the Madison Club had to offer and then headed a few blocks to the capital. We were surprised when we got inside to warm up that the place was as packed as can be with people from all over joining in to see the Holiday Tree. We improvised by climbing to the very top of the building and getting some gorgeous shots, as well as me laying on the ground to highlight the amazing interior of the Capital.
Back at the Madison Club, guests were provided champagne just before the couple exchanged heartfelt vows, and then we headed outside to get some of my favorite nighttime images with the Capital in the background. Bri and Brandon took a quick break to themselves and enjoyed some sushi and a few moments of downtime before entering cocktail hour. (SO SMART!)
