I love when my couples incorporate their pets into their engagement sessions, I am a HUGE animal lover! Nikki and Derek are such an easy-going, laid back couple and have been together since they were teenagers for over 8 years! In that time, they have had their long distance love while attending different colleges with the late night phone calls and reunited weekends. Derek proposed on Christmas eve to Nikki’s surprise as he said he would NEVER do such a thing on a holiday. It’s a good way to trick your love as you have been together for so long! And the rest is history and I am so excited to photograph their wedding this June at the picturesque Devil’s head resort in Merrimac.
