There were so many things that I loved about Sarah and Matt’s wedding day! The couple was referred to me by Sarah’s brother Ben as I photographed their wedding last summer at the Majestic, which you can view here.) And I am so happy they did – what a fun group of people! The ceremony and reception were held on the rooftop at the Madison Museum of contemporary art, and it was one of those wild summer weather days in Wisconsin, a crazy rainstorm swept through literally as soon as the couple kissed and came down the isle and looking back it totally added to the joy and the excitement of the day. Right after the ceremony, the group headed down to the Union, and the quick storm cleared out most of the crowd and we are able to use the open spaces to our advantage!
I loved all of the yellow pops of color throughout the day, it went with this couple’s bright love that they share for one another. Enjoy some of my favorite images at Sarah and Matt’s gorgeous rooftop wedding at the MMOCA.
