Getting Married at Willow and Oak in Hillsboro, WI
Addison and Brett tied the knot with a traditional wedding ceremony at Willow and Oak, a beautiful Hillsboro WI wedding venue, and it was such a perfect November day. Fall weddings in Wisconsin can be unpredictable, but this one was a wonderful reminder that November can still be absolutely stunning. The light, the energy, and the overall feeling of the day could not have been better.
A Meaningful Wedding Day for Addison and Brett
I have known Addison and her family for years, having photographed her senior pictures as well as her siblings, so this wedding day felt especially meaningful. It was incredibly sweet to witness so many genuine moments between family members throughout the day. There was so much love, connection, and joy woven into every part of their celebration.
A Fun and Thoughtful Wedding Reception at Willow and Oak
Their wedding reception was a big one, filled with lots of guests and thoughtful details. The team at Willow and Oak did an amazing job flipping the space between the ceremony and reception, and everything flowed seamlessly. The energy in the room was fun and upbeat from the moment guests arrived, and the venue itself is a dream to photograph. With so much natural light throughout the space, it is such a beautiful setting for a Wisconsin wedding photographer.
Bride and Groom Portraits in the Wisconsin Fall
We stepped away for a short time to a nearby park for bride and groom portraits, and it was the perfect change of scenery. The quiet moments, the fall colors, and the time to simply let them be together made for some of my favorite images of the day.
From start to finish, the day went off without a hitch and turned into one heck of a party. One of the most memorable moments of the night was their first dance, when one of the groomsmen sang and played guitar. Such an incredible talent and such a special, personal touch that made the moment even more meaningful.
