A stylish Fall wedding at the Edgewater Hotel in Madison, WI

It’s funny how it doesn’t take long for our perception to change, I guess it’s only been a matter of a few weeks for me. How our ‘old’ life truly feels so far away. But the best thing about photos is that you can feel all the feelings, helping you remember little memories just by looking at a picture. Looking back into some of the gorgeous wedding galleries of 2019 that I had the privilege of photographing brings me hope & gratitude and ignites my passion for photography.

Julia and Robbie’s beautiful Madison wedding day at the Edgewater was one of those out of a golden autumn November dream for me. They are such a sweet and genuine couple, their whole day flowed with such grace, and looking through their images and getting to relive these moments seems so much more meaningful now. The togetherness, touching, hugging, close friends and family coming together to celebrate such a pure union is truly AMAZING. I know that weddings and any other group function will give us all a whole new appreciation and perspective after having it taken away by covid-19.
Things like having your mom give you a hug and help you put your jewelry on. Or huddling up to stay warm with your whole wedding party, hugging one another, or sharing a little bottle of fireball on the bus on your back back to the reception. Having a church FULL of all of your loved ones, at one time to celebrate you. Think of how special these moments REALLY are now!

Big shout out to all the vendors that made this day the awesome celebration that it was. Gorgeous floral and design with Daffodil Parker and Cherry blossom events. Gallant knight transportation for carting us around. Bloom bake shop for their yummy cake. The pecatonica string quartet that played at the stunning Bethel Lutheran church in downtown Madison. Crafty peach for the elegant wedding Stationery and custom wedding signage. Edgewater hotel for such yummy food, pristine rooms to get ready in, and an amazing reception site. And last but not least the band, Hello Weekend, out of Chicago. They were FREAKING amazing…I ended up staying for almost an hour after I was contracted to leave because they were so. damn. good.

Thank you so much to Robbie & Julia for having me along for the ride and letting me document your day! Enjoy some of my favorite photos of their stylish and elegant Madison wedding day!
