Kelsey & Phil have a love like something straight out of a romance novel. They mentioned so many times throughout the day how lucky they are that they have found their soulmates in each other. Any guest that attended the ceremony will know exactly what I mean when I say that it was one of the most touching and heartfelt unions ever!
The couple was married outside in the Schieg Gardens in Memorial Park in Appleton. Kelsey walked down the aisle with her mom and dad and her and Phil both wrote incredibly heartfelt vows to each other. They both have a way with words!
Shooting around these grounds was like a photographer’s dream! After photographing around the gardens, the wedding party jumped on a bus and we headed to Lawrence University to shoot around the campus. I had never been there before, but it has this east coast, Nantucket artsy feel to it that was super cool!
The floral designs that the flower mill created were so bright and beautiful, they just complemented Kelsey’s personality and the vibe of the whole wedding day so well! This group was so freaking fun and the girls made me feel like one of the family! I love watching how the bride interacts with her bridesmaids on her wedding day and you can tell that these girls absolutely adore Kelsey!
Kelsey’s cousin Katie played matchmaker and introduced these two, she had a gut feeling that they were meant to be together. I don’t think anyone could have been more right about anything in their life! The love that Kelsey and Phil share is something that is so pure and good. It made me step back and realize how lucky I am to be a part of this joining of two people that have such an amazing love! I could’ve posted a gazillion more photos but I didn’t want this to be the longest post in history. When I originally pulled my favorites I had over 300 photos!! I tried to tone it back for the blog post. Enjoy some of my faves!
