Senior season is right around the corner and I am now taking bookings for 2018 seniors!! One of my favorite portrait sessions from this past season’s was Raven’s, I absolutely LOVED taking her senior photos and this session was incredibly meaningful in so many ways. Raven knew that she wanted to shoot a portion of them at there farm in Endeavor, with a beautiful barn and an amazing willow tree and pond in the back yard with the sun setting behind it. They were even more meaningful that her mom was able to be there with her. Raven lost her mother this past fall to a long battle with breast cancer. I remember watching her mom as we were at one location and she was waiting in the car – teary eyed and darn proud of her baby girl all at the same time, as she watched her being photographed.
Raven is going to attend the University of Minnesota for interior design next fall and I am sure she will go far. She has always been artistic and one of her favorite teachers teaches design and architecture classes and was inspired by them to pick this path. She will also be interning with wedding planner and friend of mine, Fiorella Neria, this summer so I am sure that I will be seeing her around:) Can’t wait to watch you chase your dreams over the next few years Raven!
