Just in time for spring and there was so much inspiration in all of the beautiful decor to be found for the upcoming wedding season, I was so happy to document Chastity and Darius’s 5 year anniversary party and vow-renewal at Trapper’s Turn in Wisconsin Dells. We were incredibly lucky with a 65 degree day at the beginning of March with sunny skies and the smell of spring in the air. We snapped some photos before guests arrived of their whole family (and two adorable kiddos) around the golf corse and then headed back in to meet a great group of close friends and family. There was a bloody mary bar, complete with all the fixings and deviled eggs, mmm!
A sweet vow renewal under a gorgeous arch by Wild Apples was given by their pastor and it was evident how happy they are and how much has changed in the past five years with their youngest clinging to his mama’s leg, it was so cute. After a yummy brunch buffet, the kids had the dance floor all to themselves complete with balls, hula hoops and tons of games. It was so nice outside that I had the opportunity to take a portrait of each family that was there – a gift that Chastity & Daruis wanted to give to all of their guests. Here are some of my favorites of the day:)
Loved the beautiful chalkboards from a la crate in Madison.
