I serendipitously meet Nikki while I was having lunch at our restaurant, The High Rock Cafe as she was inquiring abobut the private dining room space to see if it would be big enough for her impromptu wedding she was planning 4 weeks away! After listening to her story I immediately felt for her. At that time Brian was scheduled to fly off to Africa to help out with the Ebola crisis. Nikki was running around the Dells trying to figure out how to get this wedding together. I gave her my card while I suggested some other venues that would be big enough to accommodate her guests. After two days she gave me a call and we discussed the details of her wedding. She wanted to have a vintage rustic vibe, which wasn’t going to be easy. This was still February, the middle of winter, and I couldn’t think of any suitable locations. Finally I decided to give Michelle a call at Robin’s Nest Restorations and she graciously let us use her gorgeous space before Nikki and Brian’s ceremony. (One of the reason’s I feel lucky to call The Dells my home is this willingness for town’s members to help each other out). The space turned out to be a perfect backdrop for this beautiful couple and their wedding party. After we gathered all the shots we needed we all headed over to Dells Bells for the ceramony. I wish this sweet couple all the best and hope they suceed at helping others in anyway they can!
