Kelly and Ryan are the kind of couple that you just want to be friends with, you can tell they complete each other and photographing their special day was so much fun. They were married at the beautiful St. John’s Catholic church in Waunakee (LOVE their priest, he gave such a great service) and held their reception at the Lake Windsor Golf Club. Kelly’s Maggie Sottero dress fit her flawlessly and totally fit with her spunky and outgoing personality. And I loved we were able to get a few photos of their dog, Duchess, after the ceremony too. I was hopping around just giddy and didn’t want to stop snapping away! I mean two of my favorite things, brides and dogs, come on! After a few photos outside the church, we headed to downtown Madison for some photos at the Overture center and in front of the capital. Luckily it wasn’t too cold out, and the whole wedding party was fun-loving and had a great time. Back at the reception hall, Lake Windsor has the most beautiful chandeliers thoughout the room, and the night was filled with lots of laughter, kissing, and a frozen custard bar from Culvers! (where Kelly is a graphic designer at) that was a huge hit!
The gift Kelly gave to Ryan was so sweet – a journal that she had been writing in daily from the day they got engaged!
