I’m so excited to share this beautiful wedding, it was one of my favorites of the season. Megan and Travis are such a sweet couple, full of adventure and love and had an amazing modern wedding held at the beautiful Kalahari Resort in Wisconsin Dells. Megan was stunning in her lace gown and long veil, and they transformed the space completly with gorgeous uplighting, soft white draping, touches of gold sequin and dazzling chandeliers everywhere. The couple started with their first look inside and I was able to get some gorgeous shots of them. We then headed to Trapper’s Turn to photograph the wedding party and focus on some images of the two of them, and worked oh so quickly because of a little rain shower that decided to pay us a visit. With no worries, the gang headed to their favorite watering hole at the showboat saloon in Downtown Dells, they relaxed, danced and then we headed back to the resort.
There was a cocktail hour before the ceremony, which gave guests time to mingle and enjoy some great music. I LOVED the fact that Megan and Travis incorportated their two golden retrievers into the ceremony, it was fun, sweet and seeing them with the two dogs has made me want another so bad (I’m thinking a new puppy for Christmas would be perfect:) The reception and dinner were just awesome, fun toasts, lots of laughs and Megan changed into a gorgeous gold cocktail dress for the dance. I apologize for photo overload, it was just too hard for me to narrow down my favorites! Enjoy!!
I found a little hillside with stunning light right next to the resort and to take a few more pics of the couple, so happy we did, I love this set of images!
