Love IS Everywhere – Puerto Rico: Part 3

I’m sure that all you Wisconsinite’s may be getting sick of my tropical posts, seeing that we had snow on the ground this morning, but this is my last one from Puerto Rico. Sometimes I wonder why I love photographing people and couples so much, and it truly is all because I can stop a moment in time with my camera, and document it, capturing the memory and emotion into something that is tangeble.

Our condo was right across from a marina, and on the sunniest day of our trip, we went out on a catamaran boat, the Salty Dog, snorkeling and diving, and exploring some beautiful islands off the coast of Fajardo. The boat was only about half full, giving us room to sprawl out, and get to know the few other people on the boat. After spending an entire afternoon with complete strangers, it was amazing how much we all connected…the rum might have had something to do with it:) One of the couples on the boat got engaged on this island below, and when they came back on board, we were all cheering. I seriously get so excited for people that are just engaged, it’s one of the greatest things ever. It turns out that they are both photographers, and we talked about doing a little engagement shoot when we got back to land at a local tapas bar. Here is the outcome of meeting some great people, lots of sun, salt water, rum punch and a lot of love.

Shots….just what we need!

And the beginning of the engagement shoot, Mr. Scott really put me thru the ringer! As photographers, we knew every cliche’ pose that is out there, and he was messing with me, trying to do all of them…but half way thru we were laughing so hard it didn’t matter!

The next day we went ate some quiche (it’s pretty awesome being married to a guy that can cook) and headed back up into the rainforest.
