I’ve worked with some amazing couples this year, and Amanda and Almon’s wedding was an awesome day. The celebration was held at Trapper’s Turn Golf Club in Wisconsin Dells, and for an autumn wedding, this is such a great venue. The colors in Wisconsin peaked late this past year, and we took full advantage of it. The ceremony was held outdoors, on top of the range, and although it was a bit chilly, you would never be able to tell in any of the photos. We had the perfect mix of dramitic clouds, lots of sunshine and beautiful skies. The rustic touches were great, homemade floral bouquets, cowboy boots, burlap, mason jars, pies, and Amanda’s amazing Allure dress!
As I was trying trying to pick my favorite photos to showcase Amanda and Almon’s beautiful fall wedding, I had an overwhelming feeling of gratitude. I feel so blessed that I am able to be a part of one of the most important days in a couple’s life. When I sit back and really think about it, I get a little emotional. I’m doing what I love and watching two people come toghther and share something so special with their friends and family is what it’s all about.
We ventured over to Port Huron Brewing Company in the Dells to get some pics of the boys before the ceremony.
Amanda’s Mom made all of the bridesmaid bouquets, she did a great job!
Dad’s giving away their baby girl…it gets me every time!
Seriously, the most beautiful light and colors! My second shooter Abby and I were literally in photography heaven!!
