I felt so honored to photograph Lindsay & Ben’s New Year’s Eve wedding. The whole day had a great vintage, glamour, 1920’s vibe to it. The couple choose to see each other beore the ceremony, which I was thrilled about because it gave me time to photograph the both of them and the wedding party before the ceremomy. Lindsay had an “in” to the Circus World Museum grounds, which was amazing! Old railroad cars from the 1940’s and an adorable red bridge crossing the Baraboo river made it a perfect backdrop for their portraits.
The ceremony was at the Al Ringling theatre in Downtown Baraboo. It is a magnificent building with tons of character, and an amazing place for a wedding. They handed out champage to guests as they came in (keeping with the New Year’s theme). Lindsay and Ben are an awesome couple, and were so much fun to photograph. I had such a great time, and wish you two the best of luck in everything!
I LOVED the bouquets of baby’s breath for the bridesmaids and Lindsay’s bouqet.
Ben suprised Lindsay during the ceremony with the song “forever” by Ben Harper. It was the sweetest thing ever. I don’t think there was a dry eye in the room.
The couple used their favorite movies instead of table numbers, which was such a fun idea!
One of my favorite photos of the whole day – taken just outside the ringling building in the twilight.
